Seawall Hydrofoaming

Stop seawall erosion, fill dangerous voids, and save your waterfront investment.

Don't wait until it's too late. Let us stabilize your seawall today!

Seawalls are constantly under attack from forces you can’t see behind the wall. Erosion and void formation often develop unnoticed until it’s too late, and waterfront property owners are stuck with tens of thousands of dollars in repairs for soil loss, foundation damage, structural failure, and complete seawall replacement.

Signs Your Seawall Needs Hydrofoaming Now:

Soil Erosion and Voids

Water constantly washing away soil behind your seawall with every tide and storm. If you've noticed sinkholes, ground settling, or visible gaps near your seawall in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Mobile Bay, or Pensacola, we recommend scheduling an onsite analysis soon.

Seawall Cracking and Separation

Visible cracks running through your seawall or gaps where sections have separated. If you've noticed cracks widening over time or sections of your seawall pulling apart, we recommend scheduling an onsite analysis soon.

Settling Patios and Concrete

Waterfront patios, driveways, and walkways are very susceptible to settling when soil erodes behind seawalls. If your concrete is cracking, sinking, or pulling away from your seawall, call us to inspect it immediately.

Seawall Tilting or Bowing

Your seawall leaning forward toward the water or bowing outward under pressure. If you've noticed your seawall is no longer perfectly vertical or appears to be leaning, this indicates serious structural failure that requires immediate hydrofoaming to prevent complete collapse.

Water Pooling Behind Wall

Standing water or consistently wet areas visible behind your seawall after storms or high tides. If you've noticed water that doesn't drain away or marshy conditions near your seawall, this indicates serious drainage and void problems that need immediate attention.

Stone or Block Displacement

Individual stones, blocks, or sections of your seawall shifting out of position or falling away. If you've noticed loose stones, gaps where blocks used to be, or sections of your seawall that look different than they used to, this indicates the underlying support has been compromised by soil erosion.

Simple, Straightforward, and Direct Answers.

Finding out that your seawall has serious structural issues can be scary.

We’re here to guide you through your options and how you can correct the problem affordably and permanently.

Gulf Coast Foundation's
6-Step "Process to Perfection"

Step 1:

Free on-site analysis.

Our seawall hydrofoaming expert will schedule an on-site appointment and provide a no-cost detailed inspection of your seawall condition, soil erosion, and structural integrity. We’ll recommend an action plan and immediately provide you with an affordable quote.

Step 2:

Site Access and Preparation

Our team will begin by accessing the problem areas and preparing injection points along your seawall. We’ll clear any debris and identify the best locations for hydrofoam injection. This provides optimal access to all voids and erosion areas behind your seawall.

Step 3:

Soil Stabilization

In some cases, water infiltration behind the seawall may have already created dangerous voids and unstable soil conditions. We use safe, effective, and marine-environmentally-responsible Soil Link Grout to stabilize compromised soil and create a solid foundation before hydrofoam injection.

Step 4:

Crack Sealing

Since any water that tries to penetrate behind your treated seawall will be blocked by the hydrofoam barrier, it’s important to identify and seal all cracks and penetration points. This drastically reduces the amount of new water infiltration that can enter the area and cause future erosion.

Step 5:

HydroFoam Injection

GCF uses HMI’s industry-leading HydroFoam technology, specifically engineered for harsh marine environments and made in the USA. We inject the hydrophobic polyurethane foam directly into voids using our Deep Foamjection™ system. The foam displaces standing water, expands to fill all gaps, and cures into a permanent watertight barrier that prevents future water infiltration and soil erosion.

Step 6:

Final Inspection

The final step in the hydrofoaming project is a comprehensive inspection to ensure complete void filling and soil stabilization. We’ll document all injection points, test the stability of treated areas, and provide you with a detailed report of our work. We’ll then show you exactly what we’ve accomplished and answer any questions you have about maintaining your newly stabilized seawall.
